This research aims to knowing the improvement of understanding mathematical concepts ability using a personalized system of instruction model and knowing students’ understanding of mathematical concepts using a personalized system of instruction model is better than understanding students’ mathematical concepts using ordinary learning. The research design used is an experimental type of quantitative research and uses a pre-test post-test control group design. The population in this study were grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 07 Kerinci for the 2020-2021.

Metacognition is the ability of students both orally and in writing to express thinking ideas and put them into solving mathematical problems. Based on prior observation, the students of class XII Multimedia often occurs metacognitive errors. That problem was the background to carry out this research that was a qualitative research. This research aims to find out the metacognitive errors and it’s caused at students of SMK Negeri 1 Sungai Penuh Class XII on integral subjects.

The teaching materials that can be used in learning are only textbooks, the problems in the textbooks do not contain problems regarding everyday life so that learning is felt by students to be less meaningful and boring. The purpose of this study was to produce and determine the validity of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) based Student Worksheets (LKS) with Environmental Education which are suitable for use in learning mathematics on the subject of Associations in class VII SMPN 4 Sungai Penuh.

The ability to solve problems is part of the purpose of learning mathematics in junior high school, but the reality that occurs in the field is not the case. This can be seen from the lack of trained students and find it difficult to work on the stages of problem solving so that students' mathematical problem-solving abilities are still relatively low. Therefore, Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model is used by using questions based on local culture.

The Effect of Mathematics Anxiety and Intelligence on Students’ Logical Thinking Ability

This study aims to determine the effect of mathematics anxiety and intelligence on students' logical thinking skills. Which involved 96 respondents at high school. The research instruments used in this study were mathematics anxiety questionnaires, intelligence test questions, and logical thinking ability test questions. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of mathematics anxiety and intelligence on students' logical thinking abilities.

This research is focused on the prototype development stage to see the practicality of learning devices in developing a ProblemBased Learning model accompanied by Metacognition Instructions. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The informants in this study were students of Mathematics Education at IAIN Kerinci and lecturers of Mathematics at IAIN Kerinci. This study uses instruments 1) In-depth interview sheets for students and lecturers of Mathematics at IAIN Kerinci; 2) Participant Observation; and 3) Documentation.

This research is a development research that adapts the ADDIE development model. There are 5 main stages in this research consisting of stages, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research instruments used are observation sheets, interviews and questionnaires. validated by a team of media experts and the material was then evaluated by the mathematics subject teacher and then tested in small groups of class VII students the results of this study were an interactive e-book teaching material that was operated using 3D pageflip profesional software.

Ethno-mathematics-based learning is designed to focus on material that is related to the culture of the area where students are located. Many students do not know the terms of local village customs, especially terms that are mathematical measurements, even though these students are native to the local village. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of student worksheets based on ethnomatematics based on geometry and measurement. This research took place at SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Penuh conducted in class VII with 159 students.

This study is a correlational study conducted at SMPN 18 Kerinci with a population of eight grade students SMPN 18 Kerinci. The sample in this study was 59 students selected using a total sampling technique. Data collection instruments used were questionnaires on emotional intelligence and mathematical concepts test. Hypothesis testing used t-test.
