ANALYSIS OF BENEFITS OF JOINT FIELD LECTURE BETWEEN BIOLOGY IAIN KERINCI AND MASTER OF BIOLOGY EDUCATION ON ECOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENT SUBJECT

The field lecture is important learning experience for students which is carried out in the open to apply the theory they have learned. This is necessary for the Ecology and Environment subject so that it can provide real experience for students. This study aimed to determine the benefits of joint field lecture between Biology Tadris Study Program at IAIN Kerinci and the Masters in Biology Education at Padang State University for Ecology and Environment subject. The research method was descriptive qualitative-quantitative (mixed method).

Buku pintar “Daun: merupakan sumber belajar berdasarkan ketersediaan kekayaan jenis daun di lingkungan kampus. Buku ini dapat dijadikan sumber belajar dalam mengaatasi kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam memahami materi mengenai identifikasi variasi struktur daun. Ppenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji validitas dan kepraktisan buku pintar’ Daun’. Model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu ADDIE (Analyse, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluation). Uji validitas didapatkan dari ahli materi dan ahli media. Pada uji praktikalitas dilakukan pada mahasiswa berjumlah 9 orang.

The level of understanding of plant physiology in caring for ornamental plants

This study aims to determine the level of understanding of plant physiology in caring for ornamental plants in the people of Sungai Penuh City. This understanding is related to the understanding of Plant Physiology. If the community already has an understanding of plant physiology, then the community can take advantage of ornamental plants such as greening their homes, increasing income, and being used as medicinal plants. The type of research used is quantitative research with a descriptive approach.

The purpose of this development research is to produce a guide to general Biology-based problem solving using 3D pageflip as teaching material used by students in general Biology practicum. This research is motivated by the lack of availability of general Biology practicum guides at IAIN Kerinci and exploring students' scientific work knowledge and skills. The model used in developing this practicum is ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.

Dalam melakukan praktikum tentunya dibutuhkan panduan praktikum. Panduan praktikum yang membantu dalam pengembangan sikap dan kinerja ilmiah mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Campuran (Mixed Methods). Dalam penelitain metode campuran (Mixed Methods) ini akan menggunakan pendekatan Explanatory Sequential Design (Rancangan Sekuensial Eksplanatoris). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua mahasiswa Biologi semester III IAIN Kerinci yang mengontrak matakuliah Botany Phanerogamae yang berjumlah 110 orang.

Indonesian Pre-service and In-service Science Teachers’ TPACK Level

This current study aimed to examine the levels of TPACK among pre-service and in-service science teachers, including several influencing factors such as gender, status, and age. Through a study of TPACK dimensions of the 211 pre-service and in-service biology teachers in junior high school and science teachers in senior high schools were identified. The results depicted that pre-service and in-service science teachers dominate the understanding and application of non-technological dimensions.

Keruntuhan Teori Flat Earth Menurut Filsafat Islam dan Al-Quran

This research aims to know how to collapse the theory of flat Earth according to Islamic philosophy and Al-Quran. The research used is qualitative research with a literature study method, namely tracing journals, articles, books, Tafsir Al-Quran, and other sources that support, combine, analyze, and draw conclusions. The results of the study that the philosophy of Islam and the Qur'an argue in detail and detail that the theory of Flat Earth or flat earth is contrary to the thought of the figures of Islamic philosophy and Qur'anic verses.

One way to evaluate general biology practicum is to know the students' perceptions of general biology practicum. This study aims to determine student perceptions of general biology practicum, general biology practicum planning, facilities and infrastructure of general biology practicum, and also to determine the perceptions of students towards the implementation of general biology practicum majoring in biology IAIN Kerinci. This research belongs to the category of qualitative research.

Molecular Characterization Of Endophytic Bacterial Isolates Of Angsana Leaves (Pterocarpus Indicus Willd) Producers Of Antibiotics Compounds

The increasing resistance of pathogenic bacteria to antimicrobials requires the discovery of new antibiotics. Angsana plant or Lansano (Pterocarpus indicus Willd) is one of the medicinal plants in West Sumatra. Angsana has the potential to have endophytic bacteria capable of producing antibiotic compounds like its host. The endophytic bacterial isolates of Angsana can inhibit the growth of S. aureus and E. coli bacteria. This study aims to determine the genetic characteristics of the endophytic bacteria of Angsana leaves that produce antibiotic compounds through phylogenetic tree analysis.
