Configuration the Thought of Islamic Law Throught Social Media in Indonesia

This study shows the reasoning behind Islamic law, which has recently become popular, along with the popularity of preachers through social media. Three themes of analysis are discussed in this study: the law of wishing Merry Christmas, the law of celebrating birthdays, and the law of music. Judging from the source, this research is text research. The text to be studied is in the form of lectures by well-known preachers on YouTube social media. This study uses an interdisciplinary approach, which combines discourse analysis with Islamic legal philosophy (ushul fiqh).

Rukyat as Determination of the Lunar Month Beginning: A Method, Obstacles, and Debate in Indonesia

Two calendar systems are developing globally, namely the Syamsiyah system (solar system) and the Kamariah system (lunar system). The lunar system is a calendar used by Muslims and has utility in worship rituals based on the calendar period. Qur’an and Hadith have mentioned this completely, namely, one year consists of twelve months. This study aims to determine the determination of the beginning of the lunar month using the rukyat method and to determine the extent to which the implementation of the rukyat method can be accepted by the Indonesian people.

Tradition of the forced marriage of couples who return late at night perspective of Islamic law: Case study of the tradition of the Lekuk Lima Puluh Tumbi Lempur Society, Jambi

Islam upholds the principle of willing consent in marriage, prohibiting coercion, yet in the Lekuk Lima Puluh Tumbi Lempur Jambi community, forced marriages occur due to local customs, leading to negative consequences. The research method used was field research focusing on the Lekuk Lima Puluh Tumbi Lempur community, Jambi, Indonesia. The data obtained were analyzed and studied with Islamic law. The findings first show that the forced marriage occurs when a man and a woman return to the village after a late night.

Determining Qibla Direction of Mosques in Jambi Province: Method, Conflict, and Resolution

The development of technology and science has an essential role in human life, as well as concerning worship, such as determining the Qibla direction. However, some mosques still determine the Qibla direction based on estimates or follow the Qibla direction of existing mosques so that the Qibla direction is inaccurate or does not point directly to the Kaaba. The Qibla direction of mosques in Jambi Province is measured using a compass instrument, and they believe that the Qibla direction is to the west.

Trading business activities via the internet are known as electronic commerce (e-commerce). It has become a necessity that society always experiences changes which are often followed by changes in mindset and values.

Moral Homo Islamicus (Islamic Man) Dalam Konteks Ekonomi Islam Modern

This study aims to analyze the assumptions of Islamicus' ideas (theories/concepts) in the context of modern society's behavior which undergoes many changes in preferences which are not adequately described by Homo Economicus which negates morals in conception and makes Self Interest as the goal of maximizing utility. The idea of Homo Islamicus allows it to be collided with modern conditions to find assumptions that are in accordance with the realities that exist in the context of the modern economy.

Tokoh Politik Islam Era Orde Lama Indonesia: Kajian Pemikiran KH Idham Chalid dalam Menerima Konsep Demokrasi Terpimpin Tahun 1965

After the ups and downs of the cabinet during the parliamentary democracy or often referred to as liberal democracy, Soekarno implemented a new concept and model of democracy since 1959 called guided democracy. KH Idham Chalid who at that time served as chairman of PBNU issued his political ijtihad that guided democracy was in accordance with Islamic teachings. The purpose of writing this article is to find out the ijtihad of KH Idham Chalid, especially his thoughts on the concept of guided democracy.

Rasch analysis of student attributes: development and validation of scale to measure religious moderation

In Indonesia, the narrative of Religious Moderation is being hotly discussed and has even been included in the RPJMN 2020-2024. The target index has been determined, but measurement instruments are still minimal and can be used to measure the level of religious moderation at the university level. This research was conducted in response to these needs. The development of this instrument uses a unidimensional construct using Rasch analysis. The number of samples used was 406 students selected using the multistage random sampling technique.

ANALISIS IMPLEMENTASI AKAD IJARAH DI PERBANKAN SYARIAH BERDASARKAN REGULASI DAN FATWA

The jarah contract in Indonesia is regulated by various regulations, such as the fatwa of the National Sharia Council of the Indonesian Ulema Council (DSN-MUI) and regulations from the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The fatwa and egulations are the references in the practice of contracts in Islamic financial institutions, one of which is Islamic banking. There may be a discrepancy between the practice of Islamic banking contracts and existing regulations. Therefore, this paper aims to analyze the harmonization between ijarah contract regulations in Indonesia and Islamic banking ractices.

KARAKTERISTIK DAN HAKEKAT PERATURAN PERUNDANG-UNDANGAN HUKUM EKONOMI SYARIAH

The birth and formation of laws and regulations related to sharia economic law is based on the growing development of sharia financial institutions (LKS). The operation of Islamic financial institutions must of course be in accordance with Islamic principles, namely those based on the Qur'an and hadith. The birth of laws and regulations of sharia economic law is actually rooted in fiqh muamalah. The research method used in this study is library research, namely research using library data from books, journals, theses, dissertations, articles and others.
