This study tries to reveal the typology of student learning in Qira'ah subjects, the Multiple Intelligence of students in these subjects, and the relationship between student learning typology in Qira'ah subjects from the perspective of Multiple Intelligences. The Subjects in this study were students of the Jam'iyah Ihsaniyah al-Mukhtariyah Kerinci Islamic Boarding School. This research uses qualitative and quantitative methods.

Linguistic Error in Writing Arabic on Student Of Pondok Pesantren Al-Muhsinin Kerinci

Language competence of students when learning Arabic is very little noticed by Arabic language learners because it is very difficult for students to apply to what they learn from Arabic verbally and editorially. This study aims to describe the types of linguistic errors in Arabic writing and the reason for this error among Arabic learning in al-Muhsinin boarding schools. This study uses Henry Tarigan's qualitative error analysis method which consists of four stages: identifying errors, classification of errors, explaining errors, and evaluation of errors.

Arabic Learning in Industrial Revolution 4.0: Problems, Opportunities, and Roles

Technological capabilities in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 can facilitate the learning process. However, some Arabic language education students at Jambi University still find it difficult to learn Arabic and decide to change majors. This study finds out how the problems, opportunities, and roles of the Arabic language during the industrial revolution 4.0 in the Arabic language education study program at Jambi University. This research is a descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques: a) observation; b) interviews; and c) documentation.

Pendekatan Linguistik dalam Pengkajian Hukum Islam Klasik

Artikel ini membahas mengenai penggunaan pendekatan linguistik dalam pengkajian hukum Islam klasik. secara periodik, hukum Islam klasik berkembang dari masa rasulullah hingga sampai pada masa bani abbasiyah dengan menunjukan pola yang dinamis dan unik pada tiap periodenya. Pendekatan linguistik dalam pengkajian hukum islam digunakan untuk mengambil tafsiran baru dari hukum Islam klasik, yang masih dianggap relevan untuk keadaan sekarang. Hal ini karena bahasa Arab merupakan bahasa unik yang bisa menghasilkann bentuk tafsiran yang beragam, tergantung cara mana yang kita pakai.

Situating Islamic Values in English Language Teaching Documenting the Best Practices in Indonesia

Studies on the integration of moral, cultural, and religious values in language learning have recently increased. This is characterized by the number of these research topics. Indonesia as the world's largest Muslim-majority country must play a role in integrating Islamic values into learning, especially in learning English as a foreign language. However, in practice, there are many problems especially not all experts agree if topics related to religion are discussed in language learning.

Salah satu bentuk pengkajian tersebut, dilakukan oleh Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd dengan menggunakan pendekatan hermeneutika. Dalam kajiannya, secara umum Abu Zayd mengatakan bahwa pemaknaan terhadap teks al-Qur’an, tidak terlepas dari konteks zaman pada masa turunnya, keduanya pasti memiliki saling keterkaitan sehingga dari situlah, Abu Zayd mengeluarkan teori mengenai Ta’wil, Talwin, dan Pembaacaan Produktif

The Correlation Between Vocabulary Mastery And Reading Comprehension

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur apakah ada korelasi antara penguasaan kosakata dan kemampuan membaca mahasiswa di Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Riau pada Program Studi keuangan Perbankan dan Akuntansi. Adapun responden penelitian ini sebnyak 26 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan sensus sampling dimana semua mahasiswa Program Studi Keuangan dan Perbankan serta Akuntansi menjadi sample. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan instrument tes. Tes diberikan kepada mahasiswa untuk mengukur kosa kata dan kemampuan membaca. Analisis penelitian ini menggunakan program SPSS dalam menghitung hasil.

Penerapan Language Skills Melalui Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (CIRD) Dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa di MA Negeri 1 Kerinci

Language skills can be improved through the application of CIRC learning models, and the procedure of CIRC includes: teacher presentation, team practice, individual  practice, peer preassessment, additional practice and testing. Then the last one is various activities which they elements in the CIRC learning model such as (1) reading each other's stories with group friends, (2) conclude stories, (3) listen to stories, (4) retell stories that have been read and heard in oral and written forms, (5) play drama, (6) write, edit, revise, and publish poetry with group friends.

Communicative Language Test For Speaking Class

According to Brown (2004:3) a test is a method of measuring a person’s ability, knowledge, or performance in a given domain. There are three components in that definition, method, knowledge and performance.It means that a test is a tool to measure someone’s ability in performing a language. More over Savignon (1983:231) says that tests are commonly used to measure the outcome of instructional program. Tests may be used to guide the development of instructional programs. By doing a test the teacher might check the development of the programs that have been done to the students.
