Bridging Ethnobotany and Islam: Measuring the Feasibility and Practicality of an Ethnobotany Textbook Integrated with Islamic Values

This study aims to analyze the quality and feasibility of an ethnobotany textbook integrated with Islamic science as an alternative learning resource for students in the Biology Education Study Program. The textbook was developed using the ADDIE model. The developed textbook underwent validation by three experts: a material expert, with a score of 95%; a design expert, with a score of 85.6%; and a language expert, with a score of 93.3%. Practical testing conducted by students and lecturers resulted in an average score of 85.6%, categorizing the textbook as highly practical.

Eulerian Graph in STEM Learning Approach : Local Instruction Theory for Prospective Mathematics Teacher

This study aims to design a LIT of Eulerian graphs based on the STEM learning approach. By combining LIT with the STEM approach, teaching Eulerian graph material can be done in a more applicable and easily understood way by prospective mathematics teacher students. This study is a design research study with three stages, preliminary design, design experiment, and retrospective analysis. The trial was conducted on fourth-semester prospective mathematics teacher students of the Mathematics Education Department, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, IAIN Kerinci.

Curriculum Integration Management in Islamic Education: A Case Study of Kerinci Modern Boarding School

This study aims to explore the integration of religious and general education in the curriculum development of modern Islamic boarding schools in Kerinci, Indonesia. Interviews, observations, and document analysis were used to gather information from curriculum managers, staff, and teachers using a descriptive qualitative approach and a thorough case study method. The findings reveal that both Arafah and Nurul Haq Islamic boarding schools implement integrated curricula to balance Islamic and secular education.

PERSPECTIVE OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION STUDY PROGRAM STUDENTS ON THE ISLAMIC EDUCATION CURRICULUM IN INDONESIA

This study investigates the perceptions of final-year students in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Study Program at IAIN Kerinci regarding the evolution, structure, and implementation of the Islamic education curriculum in Indonesia. Employing a qualitative research approach with a case study design, the research seeks to provide an in-depth and contextually grounded understanding of student experiences within a specific institutional setting. Data were collected using triangulated methods, including in-depth semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and document analysis.

Botany plays a crucial role in shaping students’ understanding of biodiversity and its relevance to daily life. However, theoretical approaches often create a disconnect between scientific knowledge and its real-world application. This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of practice-based ethnobotany learning in enhancing students’ biological understanding, cultural awareness, and critical thinking skills.

Isolation and Identification of Terpenoids from Artocarpus camansi Leaves Based on Column Chromatography and UV-IR Spectroscopy

This study aims to isolate and identify terpenoid compounds from kluwih leaves (Artocarpus camansi). Extraction was done using methanol solvent, followed by n-hexane fractionation, which produced a concentrated blackish green extract. Compounds were separated through column chromatography with silica gel as the stationary phase and n-hexane as the mobile phase, and a mixture of n-hexane: ethyl acetate, producing eight fractions.

The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The method of data collection and data processing uses literature studies and qualitative analysis, researchers look for data collections from scientific articles in various journals and then analyze them.

Arrangement and Dynamication of Family Law Updating in Indonesia

In Indonesia, family law is well regulated in law or government regulations. In this case, with the increasingly complex family law issues supported by divorce rates, which reached 398,245 in 2015, then in 2017, it increased to 415,898, and with the development of science and technology, so many problems arise both in terms of muamalah or family law itself. For this reason, structuring is needed through legal reform that makes it follow what is needed by the wider community.

Philosophy of Ayam Jago: Researching The Values of Character Education in Customary Perbayo Sungai Tutung Village, Kerinci District

Perbayo is a speech delivered at the coronation ceremony of a local village leader that embraces three aspects, namely: the creation of human, the Kerinci's natural history, and the leadership. As for the third aspect, the values are often analogous to a rooster having six characters: 1) langsing kokok (good crow); 2) sibar ekor (beautiful tail); 3) kembang sayap (wide wings); 4) besar paruh (big beak); 5) lebar dada (big chest); and 6) runcing taji (sharp spur). The six characters are metaphors of the values that a leader of Sungai Tutung Village must have.
