Religiusitas dan Kepuasan Belajar di Mahasiswa Program Pendidikan Agama Islam

Kepuasan belajar merupakan aspek penting dalam proses pendidikan dan telah menjadi topik utama dalambanyak penelitian. Penelitian ini menyelidiki pengaruh religiusitas terhadap kepuasan belajar siswa. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desainsurvei. Rumus Krejcie & Morgan digunakan untukmenentukan ukuran sampel, menghasilkan 103responden dari 150 mahasiswa yang terdaftar di programPendidikan Agama Islam di IAIN Kerinci untuk TahunAkademik 2023/2024.

ANANALYSIS OF SCIENCE MAJOR HIGH SCHOOLSTUDENTS’PREFERENCES FOR PURSUING HIGHER EDUCATION

Student preferences in continuing their studies to the college level are a crucial topic in education, particularly for those transitioning from high school. This study aims to identify and compare these preferences between students in urban and rural high schools. Using a descriptive and comparative quantitative approach, data were collected from 163 students through a questionnaire comprising 26 items developed from previous research. Descriptive analysis and independent samples t-tests were used to examine patterns and differences.

Analisis Peer Influence dalam Pembelajaran dan Korelasinya dengan Kinerja dan Motivasi

Pengaruh teman sebaya (peer influence) memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap perilaku, sikap, dan persepsi siswa dalam pembelajaran. Peer influence juga terkait dengan kinerja akademik dan motivasi belajar siswa. Dukungan serta pengaruh positif dari teman sebaya dapat menjadi dorongan penting bagi siswa untuk mencapai potensi akademik mereka secara maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara peer influence, kinerja akademik, dan motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan korelasional.

College Student Learning Preparedness: Do Time Management Skills and Sleep Quality Matter?

The learning process is more likely to succeed when students exhibit high levels of learning readiness. However, empirical evidence from prior studies suggests that not all students possess this readiness. This study aims to explore the individual and combined impacts of time management and sleep quality on students' readiness to learn. Employing a quantitative survey design, the research involved 178 students from the Kerinci State Islamic Institute. The sample size was determined using the Krejcie & Morgan formula, with sample selection carried out through Simple Random Sampling.

KEMAMPUAN BERADAPTASI MAHASISWA PERANTAU: APAKAH GAYA HIDUP HEDONIS DAN CULTURE SHOCK MEMILIKI PERAN?

Mahasiswa yang menempuh Pendidikan di luar daerah cenderung mengalami kesulitan untuk menyesuaikan diri pada tahun-tahun pertama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh gaya hidup hedonis dan culture shock terhadap adaptasi mahasiswa perantau. Melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei, data dikumpulkan dari mahasiswa perantau pada salah satu perguruan tinggi di Provinsi Jambi, Indonesia. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan convenience sampling sehingga diperoleh sebanyak 93 mahasiswa.

Consumptive behavior in online shopping is a common practice among college students, despite its potential negative impacts across various aspects of their lives. This study aimed to describe the prevalence of online shopping consumptive behavior, peer conformity, and self-control among students. It also analyzed the influence of self-control and peer conformity on online shopping consumptive behavior. The research adopted a quantitative approach with a survey method.

Academic Procrastination among College Students: Do Learning Awareness and Self-Management Play a Role?

Academic procrastination is a prevalent tendency among students. This study examines the impacts of learning awareness and self-management on academic procrastination. Employing a quantitative survey approach, the research involved 134 Kerinci State Islamic Institute students in Jambi Province, selected through convenience sampling. Descriptive analysis was conducted to assess the levels of each variable. Findings suggest a low level of academic procrastination, with learning awareness and self-management exhibiting moderate levels.

PERBEDAAN RESILIENSI MAHASISWA DI TINJAU BERDASARKAN ETNIS

Resilience is the ability to overcome and adapt to difficult events or major problems that occur in life. The aim of this research is to examine differences in student resilience based on ethnicity. This research design used a descriptive and comparative survey, involving 104 students from universities in Kerinci, Jawa, Melayu Jambi, Batak, Minang Kabau. The research adapts differences in student resilience based on ethnicity for data collection. Data analysis using the results of the Kruskall Wallis technique. The results show that student resilience is in the high category.

FLAGSHIP RELIGIOUS PROGRAM AT ISLAMIC COLLEGE: WHAT IS THE EFFECT ON STUDENTS' RELIGIOSITY?

This study aimed to describe the religiosity of studentsengaged in religious programs compared to those who did notparticipate in such programs, followed by a comparative analysis ofreligiosity between these two groups. Utilized a comparative surveydesign, with 89 students from an Islamic university in Jambi Province,participating in the Religiosity among Muslims Scale throughconvenience sampling. Data analysis employed the Mann Whitney UTest. The research findings indicated that both students involved inreligious programs and those not involved exhibited very high levels ofreligiosity.

The Impact of School Climate and Social Support on Bullying Tendencies in Vocational High School Students

Bullying is aggressive behavior involving a power imbalance between the victim and the perpetrator. A negatively perceived school climate can increase maladaptive behaviors, including bullying. Social support, encompassing a sense of being valued, loved, and cared for also play a critical role in reducing bullying. This quantitative study aims to examine the influence of school climate and social support on bullying tendencies among vocational high school students. Using a cross-sectional online survey, 343 students participated as respondents.
