Based on a preliminary study that the ultimate purpose of Civic Education in primary schools should not only expected to shape the mora lcharacter of students, SD Islam Mutiara Al-Madani Sungai Penuh, should shape both its students’ cognitive and affective aspect, such as faith and piety. This is a qualitative study, in which the data is collected through interviews and observations. The participants of this study are fifth grade students of Al- Madani Elementary School.
