In this research, we explore the process of bai'at educators in the Sammaniyah congregation and its internalization and implications for changes in educator competence in Jambi Province, Indonesia. This study uses descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The aim is to find out the process of bai'at of the Sammaniyah tarekat, internalization methods, and changes in educator competence using observation data collection methods and semi-structured interviews involving 7 participants. Data analysis using thematic. The research findings show that the bai'at process can be carried out if you already have the requirements conveyed by the teacher to bring, namely cotton oranges, key oranges, kaffir limes, tailors, and mermaid oil. These requirements are submitted to the teacher to carry out the bai'at procession. The bai'at process for prospective students is a condition for them to become students and the initial door for the opening of the invisible door by Allah through the teacher. Internalization of bai'at for students continuously in life by applying the principle of bai'at. Its implications can improve and strengthen educators' pedagogic, personality, and professional and social competence.
