The Effect of Mathematics Anxiety and Intelligence on Students’ Logical Thinking Ability

This study aims to determine the effect of mathematics anxiety and intelligence on students' logical thinking skills. Which involved 96 respondents at high school. The research instruments used in this study were mathematics anxiety questionnaires, intelligence test questions, and logical thinking ability test questions. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of mathematics anxiety and intelligence on students' logical thinking abilities.

The Analysis Practicality Of Problem-Based Learning Model Accompanied By Metacognition Instructions To Improve Statistical Reasoning Skill Students

This research is focused on the prototype development stage to see the practicality of learning devices in developing a ProblemBased Learning model accompanied by Metacognition Instructions. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The informants in this study were students of Mathematics Education at IAIN Kerinci and lecturers of Mathematics at IAIN Kerinci. This study uses instruments 1) In-depth interview sheets for students and lecturers of Mathematics at IAIN Kerinci; 2) Participant Observation; and 3) Documentation.

This research is a development research that adapts the ADDIE development model. There are 5 main stages in this research consisting of stages, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research instruments used are observation sheets, interviews and questionnaires. validated by a team of media experts and the material was then evaluated by the mathematics subject teacher and then tested in small groups of class VII students the results of this study were an interactive e-book teaching material that was operated using 3D pageflip profesional software.

VALIDITAS LEMBAR KERJA PESERTA DIDIK (LKPD) BERBASIS ETNOMATEMATIKA PADA MATERI GEOMETRI DAN PENGUKURAN

Ethno-mathematics-based learning is designed to focus on material that is related to the culture of the area where students are located. Many students do not know the terms of local village customs, especially terms that are mathematical measurements, even though these students are native to the local village. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of student worksheets based on ethnomatematics based on geometry and measurement. This research took place at SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Penuh conducted in class VII with 159 students.

THE EFFECT OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE ON MATHEMATICAL CONCEPTS UNDERSTANDING OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on the understanding of the mathematical concepts of Junior High School students. This study is a correlational study conducted at SMPN 18 Kerinci with a population of eight grade students SMPN 18 Kerinci. The sample in this study was 59 students selected using a total sampling technique. Data collection instruments used were questionnaires on emotional intelligence and mathematical concepts test. Hypothesis testing used t-test.

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Pada Materi Statistika Terhadap Kemampuan Penalaran Statistis Siswa

Kurikulum 2013 menuntut digunakannya pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa (student centered) sedangkan kenyataan yang terjadi di lapangan pembelajran masih terpusat pada guru. Kemampuan penalaran statistis cukup penting di era global ini dan jarang diteliti. Oleh karena itu digunakan pembelajaran berbasis masalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran statistis siswa.

Pengaruh Self Confidence Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional dengan analisis regresi dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self confidence terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 18 Kerinci dengan populasi kelas VIII. Adapun sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 59 siswa dengan teknik pengambilam sampel total sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket self confidence dan tes pemahaman konsep matematis.
