Deskripsi/Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out how the problem based learning model using multimedia influences students' creative thinking abilities. This type of research is quantitative using experimental methods in accordance with the research objectives. The research design used was a randomized control-group only design. The population of this study was students of class VII SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Penuh. The sampling technique is saturated sampling. Class VIIA as the experimental class and Class VIIB as the control class. Based on the findings of the research on students' creative thinking skills using a multimedia-assisted problem-based learning model in class VII SMP Negeri 7 Kota Sungai Penuh with an average score of 85 and a completeness percentage of 100%. Meanwhile, students' creative thinking ability using traditional learning methods assisted by multimedia, with a class average of 62.86 and a completeness percentage of 33.33%. Based on the hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that the multimedia-assisted problem-based learning
model (PBL) has an effect on students' creative thinking abilities.
