This study aims to examine the difference in Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) increase with students who obtain Autograph assisted discovery leaning, 2.The interaction between learning models and students initial mathematical abilities to students’ mathematical problem solving abilities. This type of research is quasi-experimental. The population in this study were all the students of class IX SMA Alwashliyah 3 Medan totaling 90 students. The sample selection is determined by randomly selecting two classes.

This study aims to determine (1) the mathematical fluency procedural ability of students taught using the peer lesson learning model and those not taught with the peer lesson learning model in class VIII, and (2) the effect of the peer lesson learning model on the mathematics procedural fluency ability of grade VIII students .

The purpose of this research is to test effectivitytrategy Think Talk Write (TTW) of the ability of problem solving mathematical, and test whether the differences efektivity between strategy Think Talk Write (TTW) with determine saintific of the ability of problem solving mathematical students. The kind of research this quasi his experiments with design research posttest only control group design. Population in research it is a whole students grade VIII of SMP Negeri 34 Batam which consisted of 279 students which are divided into 7 class.

The students’ difficulties on understanding the material and the lack of the enthusiasm in learning mathematics, especially in angle measurement material were be the basic reasons for this research. In addition, conventional learning methods that characterized by lectures were still often used by teachers in learning. Therefore, the learning not being more active, effective, and enjoyable. The development of educational learning media like analog clock board was one of the solutions to improve students’ understanding.

This study aims to determine the effect of blended learning strategies on the creativity of the pre-service teachers. By a quantitative approach, the type used in this study is a quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were pre-service teachers in semester VII of the Mathematics Education Study Program at Universitas Negeri Medan. The instrument has used a test in the form of essay tests of 5 items concerning creativity.

This study aims to describe the students’ mathematical connections in terms of the locus of control. The mathematical connection indicators in this study are writing down the mathematical concepts that underlie the answers, recognize the relationship of various mathematical ideas and mathematical topics that can be related to problems of everyday life, and understand how to solve mathematical ideas that are interrelated and underlie each other to obtain an integrated whole. Data collection methods in this study were questionnaires, tests, and interviews.

Perbandingan Kemampuan Representasi Matematis Siswa Sekolah Dasar pada Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Augmented Reality dan Pasir Kinetik

This study aims to determine the difference of students’ representation ability through the Augmented Reality (AR) and kinetic sand as learning media. This research is a quasi-experimental by nonequivalent control group design. The students’ representation ability compared based on students’ prior mathematical ability (PMA) as high, medium, and low category. The data analyzed by using two path Anova on SPSS 16. The results of data analysis shown that there is no difference on students’ representation ability in both AR class and kinetic sand class in significance value of 0.68.

Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Aljabar Berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk Mendukung Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematika Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama

The purpose of this research is to develop learning tools based for Algebra on Problem Based Learning (PBL) to support the mathematics communication ability of Junior High School students. Learning tools developed in this development research is students’ worksheets. The research method used is 4D model, which consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The results of worksheets’ validation by experts were 4,05 for the layout design and 4,19 for the content (both were categorized as valid).

Pendekatan Problem Solving dengan Strategi Metakognitif untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Siswa

The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in mathematical problem-solving abilities and students' responses during the learning process by applying a problem-solving approach with metacognitive strategies. This research is a classroom action research consisting of 3 cycles. The instrument used is a test of mathematical problem-solving skills and student response questionnaire. The results of the study concluded that the ability of mathematical problem-solving in the application of problem-solving approaches with metacognitive strategies has increased.

This study aimed to improve student’s problem-solving abilities of tangent circle equations using discovery learning. This research was done in class XI IPA 4 SMA N 1 Palembang. This research method is used Classroom Action Research with discovery learning models. The instrument is used test instrument in the form of an evaluating matter of the tangent circle equation in the description form and the observation sheet for observation of the learning activity of the students.
