Deskripsi/Abstract
The purpose of this study was to explore whether there is a significant effect on students' ability to solve mathematical problems between students who learn with the Problem Based Learning model and those who do not. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with a quantitative approach. The design used in this study is a post- test only control group design. The entire population studied consisted of 175 students in class X of SMK Negeri 3 Kota Sungai Penuh. The research sample was taken from class X fashion 2 with 24 students and class X culinary 1 consisting of 21 students. Data were collected through a test method using an instrument in the form of descriptive questions. The test carried out was an independent t- test to draw conclusions from the results of the study. The results found showed that the application of the PBL learning model assisted by Kahoot had a significant effect on students' ability to solve mathematical problems, as seen from the Sig. value. (2-tailed) <0.05 (0.000 <0.005). Based on the results of data analysis, the PBL learning model utilizing Kahoot media has a positive impact on students' ability to solve mathematical problems.
