HUBUNGAN EMOTIONAL SPIRITUAL QUOTIENT DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS

This study aims to determine wheter or not there is a relationship between ESQ and student’s learning motivation on mathematical problem solving abilities.The importance of mathematical problem solving skills so that students are able to process, assess, and analyze the problems they fave. This research was conducted in junior high schoolin class X even semester of the academic year. This type of research uses quantitative research. The data collection technique was carried out by giving students problem-solving ability test questions, learning motivation and ESQ questionnaires. The samples used were all students of class X at SMP Negeri 9 Kota Sungai Penuh. And the validity of the data is done by using the SPSS 26 program. The results of the study show that there is a significant relationship between the ESQ variable and learning motivation with students' mathematical problem solving. Based on the results of calculating the value of 𝑅𝑥1𝑥2𝑦 of 0.376, the relationship between ESQ and learning motivation with students' mathematical problem solving abilities is included in the low correlation level.
