Buku ini merupakan salah satu karya terbaik dalam bidang ilmu falak yang fokus pada subtema yang sangat menarik tentang arah kiblat. Tidak hanya itu, buku ini mempersembahkan beragam metode penentuan arah kiblat yang disajikan secara komprehensif. Terdiri dari 9 bab yang meliputi pendapat ulama terkemuka mengenai arah kiblat, pentingnya pemahaman arah kiblat dalam menyempurnakan salat, serta penggunaan instrumen yang sah dan akurat dalam mengukur arah kiblat.

Two calendar systems are developing globally, namely the Syamsiyah system (solar system) and the Kamariah system (lunar system). The lunar system is a calendar used by Muslims and has utility in worship rituals based on the calendar period. Qur’an and Hadith have mentioned this completely, namely, one year consists of twelve months. This study aims to determine the determination of the beginning of the lunar month using the rukyat method and to determine the extent to which the implementation of the rukyat method can be accepted by the Indonesian people.

The development of technology and science has an essential role in human life, as well as concerning worship, such as determining the Qibla direction. However, some mosques still determine the Qibla direction based on estimates or follow the Qibla direction of existing mosques so that the Qibla direction is inaccurate or does not point directly to the Kaaba. The Qibla direction of mosques in Jambi Province is measured using a compass instrument, and they believe that the Qibla direction is to the west.
