Analisis Standarisasi Laboratorium IPA di SMPN 5 Kerinci dengan Standar Laboratorium Nasional

Laboratories play an important role as a place for theory application, trials and research. Laboratory utilization supports the development of students' scientific skills, facilitates understanding of concepts, and increases learning motivation. In this st udy, the science laboratory at SMPN 5 Kerinci was evaluated for compliance with national standards. The purpose of this study is to see whether the science laboratory at SMPN 5 Kerinci is in accordance with the standards set out in Permendiknas number 24 o f 2007. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection using interview, observation, and documentation study techniques. Aspects observed include laboratory space with a score of (71.42%) in the good category, furniture with a score of (80.95%) in the good category, educational equipment with a score of (69.91%) in the good category, educational media with a score of (100%) in the very good category and other equipment with a score of (66.66%) in the good category. The overall research results of the laboratory at SMPN 5 Kerinci with a percentage score (77.78%) in the good category. The conclusion of this study shows that the laboratory at SMPN 5 Kerinci has met the science laboratory standards issued by the government.
