ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN LITERASI SAINS MAHASISWA JURUSAN TADRIS BIOLOGI IAIN KERINCI PADA MATA KULIAH EVOLUSI

This study aims to determine: the scientific literacy ability of 5th semester students of Biology IAIN Kerinci in the Evolution course. This type of research uses quantitative research with a descriptive research design. The quantitative descriptive method in this study is the method used in completing a scientific research with the aim of solving the problem being researched, namely the Analysis of Science Literacy Ability of Biology Department IAIN Kerinci Students in Evolutionary Courses. Research Results: Based on the results of the research obtained, it can be concluded in general that the scientific literacy ability of the 5th semester students of Biology IAIN Kerinci in the Evolution course shows that the students' ability to learn interestingly and evaluate conclusions and demonstrate understanding of science concepts that the variables Demonstrating an understanding of science concepts is in a very low level.
