Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Aljabar Berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk Mendukung Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematika Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama

The purpose of this research is to develop learning tools based for Algebra on Problem Based Learning (PBL) to support the mathematics communication ability of Junior High School students. Learning tools developed in this development research is students’ worksheets. The research method used is 4D model, which consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The results of worksheets’ validation by experts were 4,05 for the layout design and 4,19 for the content (both were categorized as valid).

Pendekatan Problem Solving dengan Strategi Metakognitif untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Siswa

The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in mathematical problem-solving abilities and students' responses during the learning process by applying a problem-solving approach with metacognitive strategies. This research is a classroom action research consisting of 3 cycles. The instrument used is a test of mathematical problem-solving skills and student response questionnaire. The results of the study concluded that the ability of mathematical problem-solving in the application of problem-solving approaches with metacognitive strategies has increased.

Peningkatan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah pada Materi Persamaan Garis Singgung Lingkaran melalui Pembelajaran Discovery Learning

This study aimed to improve student’s problem-solving abilities of tangent circle equations using discovery learning. This research was done in class XI IPA 4 SMA N 1 Palembang. This research method is used Classroom Action Research with discovery learning models. The instrument is used test instrument in the form of an evaluating matter of the tangent circle equation in the description form and the observation sheet for observation of the learning activity of the students.

Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Tuntas dengan Metode Tutor Sebaya untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa SMP

This research is motivated by the low student mathematics learning outcomes. The reason is the lack of full delivery of lessons and students have not fully understood the material. One alternative to overcome this problem is to implement a complete learning model with peer tutoring methods.

Hubungan Antara Gaya Belajar dan Keaktifan Belajar Matematika Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa

The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation learning styles and learning activeness towards students' mathematics learning outcomes. This study was a correlation study with all students of class VIII SMP II Luqman Al-Hakim Batam as the population, they were 154 students. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study was 62 students. The data collection method used was documentation and questionnaires. The instrument in this study used was test that was valid and reliable (r1 = 0.841 and r2 = 0.859).

Aplikasi Metode Chaid dalam Menganalisis Kecendrungan Penelitian Skripsi Mahasiswa pada Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika

This study aims to identify, analyze and map the results of students’ research on mathematics education in 2015-2018. This research used the CHAID algorithm that consists of 3 steps ie merging, splitting and stopping steps. The results of this research were (1) In 2015-2018, 51,9% of the students’ research used the classroom action research and 48,1% else used the descriptive, the analysis and the experiment. (2) 14,1% of the students used media for teaching and learning and 3,7% of them did not. (3) 8,1% were individual research and 5,9% were a collaboration or team research.

Pengaruh Gaya Kognitif Terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Siswa

The objective of this study is to determine the effect of cognitive style on students’ mathematical problem-solving ability. This study used the survey method with a quantitative approach. One class consisting of 32 students was selected by purposive sampling for the study sample. A total of 17 students have a field-dependent (FD) cognitive style, while 15 other students have a field independent (FI) cognitive style. GEFT and mathematical problem-solving ability test instruments were used to collect research data.

Efektifitas Desain Lembar Kerja Mahasiswa Terintegrasi Internet untuk Mengembangkan Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis Mahasiswa

The adequate learning resources as support for student learning activities was one of the factors supporting the learning process successful. The use of textbooks as a source of learning did not support thinking activities, especially students' mathematical reasoning abilities. The textbooks so far only emphasize the understanding of the concept while the students' mathematical reasoning abilities were less noticed. This research intends to develop student worksheets that are valid, practical and effective in developing mathematical reasoning abilities and can be accessed via the internet.

Newman Procedure dalam Menganalisis Kesalahan Siswa SMP dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Setara PISA

This study aims to identify students’ errors in solving problem equals to PISA’s based on Newman procedures. Qualitative-descriptive research was used in conducting this study and the subjects were third-grade students at SMP Unggul Sigli in year 2017/2018. Data was collected using tests and interviews. The instrument of this study was a sheet consisting of 5 (five) mathematical questions that composed equivalent to PISA’s problem.

A Study of Vocational Students Perception during Apprenticeship in Insurance Industry

Vocational Higher Education is a formal college providing knowledge as well as preparing the students for six months apprenticeship after five semesters of school. This study is based upon work that the researcher has done to investigate the contribution of this institution especially insurance administration and actuary seen from the student’s perspectives for apprenticeship to develop their skills. This study used qualitative data which were collected by interviewing the randomly chosen apprentices and are measured with the questionnaire.
