Measuring TEFL Students’ Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety: A Rasch Analysis Approach

This study sought to measures the foreign language classroom anxiety of the English Department students of a university in Indonesia and to compare the anxiety across independent demographic variables of gender and length of study at the department. The literature shows that foreign language learning anxiety affects one’s achievements in learning a foreign language. Data were collected through administration of the adapted version of Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale to 96 students selected through stratified random sampling technique.

Local Wisdom In Conserving Vegetation In Temedak Customary Forest In Keluru Village Keliling Danau District Kerinci Regency

This research was conducted based on local wisdom in Keluru. The society has awarness to keep Temedak Customary Forest of Keluru. They understand the positive effects of that Customary Forest. This Forest was decided as the Customary Forest in written form since 1927. That Customary Forest has many diversities of flora. Then, there are many rules which have made to keep the conservation of that forest in both customary law and the policy of local and village government. The rule is related to the prohibition of Customary Forest exploitation.

The socialism is the basic ideology for many ideologies in the world. Even Indonesian ideology also adapted the socialist ideology (Pancasila doctrines). In this study the researcher would like to search and know about the development of social idealism in Islam. And how the people apply the ideology in the daily activities.The aim of this research of this study is to identify the extent of Islamic socialism influence in Wordsworth’s poem. This is a content analysis research. The researcher analyzed the content of the poems.

Pertimbangan besar dalam analisis ini adalah struktur wacana berita, seperti berbagai tingkat atau dimensi penggambaran dan unit-unit atau kategori yang berguna untuk mengkategorikam tingkat dan dimensi tersebut. Analisis ini menjawab pertanyaan penting mengenai struktur wacana berita yang khusus seperti yang dibandingkankan dengan jenis lain dari wacana. Penulis hanya fokus pada studi retorika wacana saja.
