Along with the times, some people see the veil as no longer a symbol of piety but instead follow trends or popular models, not to mention that the veil is only considered a necessity used at certain times like entangled criminal cases and attending court. On the other hand, some use the veil as following the concept stipulated in Islam, namely, an obligation that cannot be abandoned and not adhered to by certain times, conditions, and situations. This article aims to explain the veil concept in Islam and the form of practice in society.

This study analyzes the manuscripts of Piagam Kerinci (Sultan Kerinci charter) and letter stored in the collection of National Library of the Republic of Indonesia. The purposes of this study are (1) to describe the contents of the charter and letters, (2) to explain the development of Islam in Kerinci as reflected on the content of the manuscript, and (3) to reveal the message contained in the manuscript. This study uses a philological approach through historical writing analysis. Several concepts and theories are used as a tool to analyze the historical phenomena studied.

This article discusses the implementation of the concept of hybrid contracts in the product of ijarah al muntahiya bit tamlik (IMBT) and leasing at Indonesia Islamic Financial Institutions. This article aimed to find out the implementation of hybrid contract concept in IMBT and leasing products at Indonesia Islamic Financial Institutions. This article was conducted using qualitative researc hmethod. The data in this study were obtained from library materials such as books, journals, articles, etc.

This is important to study because health services are one of the most urgent things in the current Covid-19 pandemic. This article aims to determine the form of contracts contained in multiservice ijarah financing as an alternative to financing health services in the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is normative legal research. The data were obtained from library materials such as books, journals, etc.

This study is intended to explain the actualization of religious moderation in Islamic fatwas in mainstream media in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach, in the form of media text studies combined with field studies. The media that is used as the object of study is Republika online which is considered to be able to represent mainstream media that has an interest in Islamic issues. Data analysis used the critical discourse analysis method developed by Teun A van Dijk.

The implementation of the death penalty for corruptors has never been decided by any judges throughout the history of law enforcement in Indonesia. However, Law No. 31 of 1999 jo Law No. 20 of 2001 on Corruption Eradication has established the criteria or conditions for a corruptor to be sentenced to death. This was an empirical legal study which was conducted by library research. This article examines judge decisions by a descriptive analysis. The theory used in this research was maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah.

One of the movements that online preachers continue to campaign for is the mediatization of hadith. This is due to the transformation of da’wah media from conventional to digital. Mediatization of hadith, one of which is displayed in infographics such as Republika.co.id, is an online media that has also colored the new face of hadith reception on Indonesian social media. This paper aims to reveal da’wah’s ideological bias or character in the mediatization of hadith. This article falls into the category of qualitative research.

Every fatwa issued by the ulama for a particular village in Kerinci refers to the adage, specifically in the five towns of the Kedepatian Semerap. In these five villages, the fatwas were issued and legitimized by the adat community. This article aims to determine what decisions are made and how the practice of establishing Islamic law by indigenous peoples in the customary area of the Kedepatian Semerap, Kerinci Regency. This type of research is qualitative field research.

This article aims to formulate a strategy for preventing anti-religious radicalism at PTKIN's Ma'had al-Jami'ah in Indonesia, which is synergized with the Ma'had al-Jami'ah curriculum for the development of Ma'had alJami'ah. This study utilized qualitative research methods and a case study approach. This study's population was Ma'had al-Jamiah at PTKIN in Indonesia. Observation of non-participants and interviews were utilized for data collecting, with condensation, presentation, and conclusion approaches for data analysis.
