Pelaksanaan Adat Margondang pada Pesta Pernikahan: Pergumulan antara Nilai Luhur Budaya dan Tuntutan Prakmatis
The custom of margondang is commonly carried out in traditional
marriages of the South Tapanuli people. Margondang is a ceremony that
has noble cultural values. However, the current implementation is
inserted with things that erode these cultural values. This study aims to
describe the cultural values of the margondang custom and to analyze the
law of the implementation of the margondang custom at the wedding
ceremony of the people of South Tapanuli. Doctrinal law research with a
coceptual approach.
