TEACHER STRATEGIES IN TEACHING SPEAKING AT SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLS IN KERINCI
This study aimed to know the strategies used by teacher at senior high schools
to teach speaking. This thesis employedqualitative descriptiveresearch. The
researcher applied the purposive sampling to identifying the sample of the study. In
getting data, the researcher examined interviews to seven teachers and five students
in five senior high schools in Kerinci such as, SMA N 1 Kerinci, MAN 1 Kerinci,
SMA N 2 Kerinci, MAN 2 Kerinci, and SMA N 13 Kerinci.
