AN ANALYSIS OF ORAL CORRECTIVE FEEDBACK USED BY THE TEACHER IN TEACHING SPEAKING AT SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 12 KERINCI ACADEMIC YEAR 2023/2024

Oral Corrective Feedback is an essential part of the learning process that contributes to improving students‟ English speaking skills. It involves both positive and negative feedback used to correct students‟ mistakes in using language features that they have not yet mastered. This research aims to analyze the types of oral corrective feedback used by English teachers in teaching speaking at Senior High School 12 Kerinci and to investigate students‟ responses to the feedback during the 2023/2024 academic year.
