Deskripsi/Abstract
The aims of this research are to find out kinds of technology and ways in using of ICT used by the teacher in teaching reading comprehension of recount text and to identify the teachers' problems appear in implementing the ICT in teaching reading comprehension of recount text. The researcher used descriptive qualitative research and data was gathered from observation and interviews. Three English teachers from different school participated in this study. This study found that teachers used Laptop, LCD Projectors and Power point as the device to teach. Some other ICTs or application are Whatsapp it was used to to send a task or subject study as pdf if the power is out, online dictionary, Youtube, and E-learning like E-book, which is provided by their schools. In terms of learning scenario, teachers mostly focused on presentation, practice and production. So they explain the lesson, practice with students and ask the students to produce what they have learned. All teachers face the same problems: unstable internet connections, some students do not have mobile phones and lack of equipment and support in facilities and infrastructure. This research was suggests that a synergy between schools and teachers plays a key role in class which is Supporting the English learning process by preparing complete facilities, instruments and wifi.
